Getting your eyeliner perfectly on fleek! ♥

Hi cuties!

Today’s post is another beauty/makeup related post! This time it’s all about eyeliner! Not only is eyeliner a tricky thing to perfect but it also takes time. Those perfect wings won’t form themselves! With these little “life hacks” the perfect eyeliner will only be a few moments away!

(note: reading this post isn’t going to make your eyeliner perfect as soon as you try it, it does take time but these little life hacks will hopefully be beneficial! And no I am not claiming to be a beauty guru or perfect at makeup in any way, shape or form. I’m just supplying you all with some tips that can help!)

Tip number 1: Make your eyeliner last longer by using a matching eye shadow: First line your eyes with a pencil liner, then lightly dust an eye shadow in the same shade on top to hold the liner in place

Tip number 2: Use a pencil liner as a guide for your liquid liner. To begin with line your eyes with a pencil liner, then just trace over that wth your liquid liner. This helps if your hand isn’t stead enough.

Tip number 3: If a perfect line is too challenging, draw a rough line to begin with then clean it up (sharpen it) with petroleum jelly on a cotton swab.

Tip number 4: Use the edge and curve of a spoon to create a perfect cat-eye shape. Use the handle of a spoon to draw the angled line and the curve of the spoon to create the shape. Then fill it in to finish the flick.

Tip number 5: If your eyeliner is crumbly, stick it in the freezer for 10 minutes before lining your eyes.

Tip number 6: If you have a business card on handy, use it to make the perfect flick.

Tip number 7: for a more precise angle for your winged liner draw the line towards your eye instead of away from it. This makes it easier to determine where the end of the flick will be

Tip number 8: If you have monolids, use a gel or liquid and draw a thick arch to create the perfect line.
